i have to say new year's count down was a sure fun thing.
yesterday after parkway debbie, heidi & i headed to marina mandrin. we wanted to cab there but the taxi man said the roads were blocked. so we took bus36 & guess what? IT WASN'T EVEN CLOSED AT ALL. the man just wanted to find an excuse not to fetch us there. WTH? anyway we jaywalked & got into the hotel. the security was really tight, they had to check some pass thing even before letting us in.
well went into the room & stayed for a while. then off we went to walk about. collecting balloons! we went about all levels getting the different helium balloons. we gave extras to children who wanted them. debbie took the wrong hotel room key & we were locked outside with nothing, no phone nothing. so we had to go to the lobby to get another key HAHAHA. counted down, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0 at the lobby & over thousands of coloured balloons were let off from above. everyone were either bursting the balloons or salvaging them. we got like 20other balloons & brought them back to our room.
stayed up, bathed, watched the telly, talked;D
we were starving so we called for macdonalds delivery. it was screwed it came like 2plus hours later at 4sth am & it was the wrong delivery. they gave us 12burgers? so we had to call them to tell them to give us the correct delivery. they charged us wrongly & more. UGH. hedi & debbie went down to collect the burgers while i stayed in the room, it was freaky alone as the helium balloons were floating here, there, up, down.
we finally slept at 6something after writing our resolutions, wishes, things we were thankful for last year on balloons. so i took a whole bed & fell asleep with my ipod.
woke up early at 9sth. we kept snoozing the alarm clock until i had to go. so we got ready & had buffet breakfast in the hotel. i had to leave early so i cabbed to kembangan mrt station where my parents picked me up&immediately we went to my club (where i am now).
suntanned, lazed about the 3metre pool & had a five course full lunch. poof.
grandma just pissed me off badly at the archade, & obviously i just flared up. i wasted 1dollar in the process. fuckk (yes im trying to cut down on them)
